As a seasoned dance coach for Plainfield North High School, Julissa has been instrumental in shaping the next generation of dancers, instilling discipline, creativity, and teamwork in each of her students.

Julissa began her dance journey at a young age, discovering a love for the art form that would propel her into a successful competitive career. With years of rigorous training and countless hours of rehearsal, she honed her skills in various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop.

Upon entering the University of Iowa, Julissa continued to pursue her passion for dance, joining the dance club and further expanding her repertoire. Under the mentorship of esteemed instructors and alongside talented peers, she continued to refine her technique and deepen her understanding of dance as both an art form and a discipline.

Now, as a dedicated dance coach for Plainfield North High School, Julissa draws upon her diverse experiences and comprehensive knowledge to empower her students. Through personalized instruction, constructive feedback, and unwavering support, she guides each dancer on their journey towards growth and achievement. She has assisted in coaching conference and sectional champions, state qualifiers, and national semi-finalists.
